Hello Power Country. I moved here a couple of years ago from Jacksonville, and I enjoy listening to your station. I didn’t really know Uncle Bob but I think I had met him once or twice. I did enjoy listening to him and Cousin Ron on weenends. They were a pair! And congratulations to Cousin Ron on the birth of his new granddaughter!

I was sorry to hear of Uncle Bob’s death. I know he will be missed by his wife, family, and co-workers. That cannot be avoided. But the world keeps on turning and life continues on. For the radio company that Uncle Bob owned, you’re probably right that it won’t be the same without him. How can it? To expect otherwise is probably unrealistic, if not unfair to Cousin Ron and the DJs who have to carry on without him. They’re doing a good job, and in their own way they’ll add to the station’s success. I still thoroughly enjoy listening to Power Country, including Saturdays and Sundays with Cousin Ron and crew.

You guys are doing a good job! Keep it up. As for Uncle Bob, may he rest in peace. Why don’t you let him do that?

Keep up the good work!

Kathy, thanks for visiting the website and signing in. We too, deeply miss Uncle Bob, and realize that things can never be the same without him. Yet, we are trying. You can rest assured that he's with us daily as we carry on the activities of Power Country Radio. I'm trying to continue his weekend shows on Saturday morning, as well as the gospel show on Sundays which I continue to refer to (with your permission) as "Uncle Bob's Real Country Gospel." He loved gospel music and I like to think he's listening and helping me out on Saturday and Sunday mornings, as well as throughout the week.

No. You are probably right in that it will never be the same. But we're doing the best we can to remember a really talented fellow and someone who was my best friend.

Remember that you have a lot of friends here at Power Country and you are always welcome to drop by anytime. You also have a standing invitation anytime, to come in a help co-host the Saturday or Sunday morning shows.

Your friend,

Cousin Ron

This is Kathy Sue, but just call me Kathy. Just wanted to say thank you everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Unkle Bob will not be forgotten, but Power Country will never be the same. He and so many worked so hard to make Power Country what it was! I just want Scott, Keith, Ryno, and those that have Bob in their hearts for who he was to keep it real for him. Remember what he taught and gave us all! I am who I have always been, but have to keep a low profile..I am not a public figure any more and please respect that! Thanks if this is shown!

Awesome show Saturday. We love listening to Cousin Ron. Please let Cousin Ron know. It was good too, to hear Barry back after so long. Hope the two of them can team up some more.
